Rugged Maniac returns for 2023 with our muddiest year yet! We’re renewing our muddy vows, going back to the nitty gritty basics, and shouting our love for mud from the mountain tops. In fact, we’re unleashing both the World’s Largest Mud Pit and a “Muddy Back Guarantee” to ensure the most epic day of muddy glory. You won’t want to miss this!

The fun doesn’t stop once you cross the finish line. Because, after the run is the after party – where mud is a part of the dress code. We take pride in making Rugged Maniac a full-day festival, jam packed with interactive games, DJ-bumpin dance parties, friendly competitions, delicious food, and of course, ice-cold beer for the 21+ Maniacs. Everyone’s welcome, even if you don’t run the race!

The cleanest attire you’ll see at the race – THE SWAG. When you register you’ll get an incredibly soft and comfy tee that reveals a secret message when it gets wet. AND an epic finishers medal (to shine up that muddy look)!

Muddy Back Guarantee
This year, we are offering a Muddy Back Guarantee – where we guarantee everyone who participates will get muddier than any Rugged Maniac event they’ve ever attended! If you don’t get muddy, we’ll get you covered. Let our staff know and you’ll be automatically upgraded to Rugged Maniac X on race day (meaning you can run the event again, and track through even more mud!).
